Let's make music change
the lives of people with hearing loss
People with hearing loss in Puerto Princesa, Philippines have little access to hearing aids. Starkey Hearing Foundation, as they do all over the world, has been working with local partners to build capacity to provide hearing care in this city.
Last year, Spotify became a partner to help bring hearing, and music, to their community.
Together, we can give more people access to hearing care.
Share the First Song stories to raise awareness for this life-changing work.
We’ve helped Starkey Hearing Foundation give the gift of hearing to more than 900 people so far, but together we can reach our goal of 1,000.

$100 = hearing care for 1 person.
If you’d never heard music, what would you want to hear first? Listen to the music Eugene, Jessa Mae, Isagani, and others chose to hear for the first time after getting their hearing aids. Straight from their ears, to yours.
Started in 1984 by William F. Austin, founder and CEO of Starkey Hearing Technologies, Starkey Hearing Foundation works hand-in-hand with local communities to provide the training and resources necessary to bring the gift of hearing to people who need it. Built on Austin's vision, "So the World May Hear," the Foundation builds sustainable systems of hearing care around the world and fits more than 175,000 hearing aids annually.
Spotify joined Starkey Hearing Foundation on their hearing mission in Puerto Princesa, Philippines by bringing six volunteers to the city and providing financial support for the region. We also donated Spotify Premium to help make music a bigger part of the hearing aid fitting experience and donated media space on our platform to help raise awareness for their work.
